I am down 56lbs, numerous inches, and went from a size 18 to a size 7

b and aPrior to joining Eupraxia, I was extremely unhappy with my body and lacked confidence. I was a mother to 3 boys and after 3 C-sections; I struggled with feeling good about small losses. A friend of mine had joined Eupraxia in August of 2013 and loved it. I knew that I needed to give this a try, because the standard type of gym was not enjoyable and I needed someone to push me. I joined in October of 2013 and that day will always be remembered because it was the day I decided to change my life for me and my family. It was time to give me the attention I needed, because as a parent we tend to do everything for everyone else and not ourselves.

When I joined, my first week will be engrained in my mind as I never want to ever be that sore again! Even though I was extremely sore, I knew it was what I needed. The people at Eupraxia are amazing! I consider this to be my family away from home; we support each other, push each other, and give each other tips. Over my journey, I have had many ups and downs. The biggest thing I needed to do was commit to making eating right and exercise a priority. I have found that I can do something for two months and tend to fall back into old habits. It took some time, but once I fully committed, it is amazing to see the changes I was able to make! I never imagined I would be in the gym 6 days a week, but when you find that you love what you are doing, it is not hard to get yourself there.

b and a2My journey is not complete; I continue to work towards my goals. I am down 56lbs, numerous inches, and went from a size 18 to a size 7. I am wearing sizes I could wear in high school. Weight is just a number; I still weigh more than my high school years by 40lbs but am wearing the same sizes because of the muscle gain and fat loss. My goals are no longer about just the number of pounds I can lose, but about losing fat and inches, the way I feel and clothes feel and gaining muscle definition.

Give Eupraxia a try; what do you have to lose other than the unwanted weight and inches. In the end you gain so much more, you will gain new muscles, a new view of your body, a new perspective on life, and many great friends.
