Do you have any tips to get your kids to eat healthier foods or make healthier choices? Leading by example

If you could only do 1 exercise for a quick workout what would it be and why? Burpees – works upper & lower body, aerobic with no weights or equipment needed.

Have you always been active or had active hobbies? Tell us about them! If not, have your activities changed?

Yes have had several hobbies over the years, most active. Riding and racing dirt bikes (i.e. Motocross) , Flying Hang Gliders, Ultralights and sailplanes for most of the last 35 years, riding Bicycles for recreation, including some cross state multi-day rides and many daily group rides including some over 100 miles in a day.

How you feel living a healthy lifestyle makes you a better dad?

Able to keep up when walking or going places together, more energy, able to enjoy more activities with my kids and grandkids.

Has Eupraxia changed any goals you have for your family and children?

Yes I would like to continue to set examples of eating healthier and the importance of regular exercise.

What advice do you have for the dads out there who are struggling to get into shape?

Pick something you can live with instead of a quick fix. A lifestyle change is where it’s at, something you can see yourself doing for the rest of your life.

Anything else you would like to share?

I have been on again off again my whole life with diet and exercise; it’s only been since going to Eupraxia that I feel I have found something I can maintain as a lifestyle. I had lost some flexibility, added some weight and lost stamina as I aged; now I find these things coming back and I’m able to enjoy everyday activities even more. The instructors, are friendly and helpful, the group setting helps in pushing through even the hardest workouts and keeping me motivated to come back. I’ve seen great results, learned a lot about how what I eat affects me daily and all with only ½ hour a day investment.
