I am an Exercise and Sports Science major with a double minor in nutrition and chemistry and Pre-Physician’s Assistant. I am from Sartell, Minnesota (near St. Cloud area). I have played a wide variety of sports like football, basketball, swimming, golf, lacrosse, trap shooting, and intramural volleyball leagues. On top of it all I am a huge fan of being outside wither that is hunting, fishing, camping, or playing a game of cornhole in the front yard! Growing up I was always in the kitchen with my mom helping her cook and make most of the meals was what got me started being interested in nutrition especially because there was a lot of oriental and nontraditional American dishes that we would make a lot, but the tipping point of what really made me pay attention and think about what I was eating was when both my mom and sister was when the doctor told them they needed to go gluten free. That is what made me realize how important a change in diet can be no matter how challenging or just straight up inconvenient it is. I have learned a ton already for the short while I have been working at Eupraxia and I am so excited to learn and grow stronger with all of you!
