I cannot express how happy I am and how comfortable I feel in my skin now.

PicMonkey Collage11 (2)My name is Jenna Kowalke. I have been a member at Eupraxia off and on for about 3 years now. Since day 1, I fell in love with how Eupraxia works; for its members to have a healthier and happier life. The nutrition plan is there for you, the gym work outs are set up for you, all you need is the right mind set and motivation and it is guaranteed success! However, with that being said, I did not have that success in my first 2 years training at Eupraxia. My first two years with Eupraxia, I was only able to train during my summers off from college.  I would come home from college all motivated to lose weight, after packing on all of the weight from….you know….the college life 😉 I would cut down my portion sizes and work out every day. I saw some results, but the day I went back to college in the fall, my results quickly faded away. Away from Eupraxia I tried everything…I spent a shameful amount of money on Adovocare, Isagenix…you name it, I tried it. Those products made me hungrier, and did not give me the energy I needed to make it through the day without snacking. They were a short-term fix, but in the end, they were not the life style change that I needed.

Then after graduation, I was fortunate enough to find a teaching position back in the area. When I returned, I was a poor college graduate with students loans up the wazoo, so the chain fitness center sign in town with the “$8.99″ sign up fee was calling my name. Once again, not the motivation and life style change that I needed to get back to a healthier and happier me. Finally, I came to my senses and returned to Eupraxia last March. This time, I was returning weighing in at a whopping 160 pounds and a height of 5’2”. NOT HEALTHY! College definitely got the best of me. This is when I said to myself, “Jenna, you need to step it up.” I had heard Steve’s nutrition talk before, but I had never acted on it. I finally took the leap and started eating Paleo.  Since then, I have never looked back. I will admit, cutting out wheat and dairy was very hard for me at first, but once I cut out the dirty foods, and tried to “cheat” and add them back in, my body showed me why they really should not be a part of my regular diet. I cannot eat those foods anymore without feeling or getting sick. I have more energy than I ever have before, without supplements or shakes, and I do not need to binge eat to feel full. The message I have behind all of my rambling is: diet is everything! When I first started at Eupraxia, I just followed their workout routine and did not follow their recommendations for eating. It was not until I started eating clean that I really started seeing results. It has been a year now of clean eating and a consistent workout routine, and I have lost over 30 pounds in fat and have gained a lot of muscle along the way.  I cannot express how happy I am and how comfortable I feel in my skin now. Eupraxia has changed my life. I have never met such amazing people that are truly there to help you reach your goals and become a happier and healthier person. Eupraxia has become my second home. I love all of my trainers, I love all of the members, and I am proud to say that I have started teaching classes myself! Thank you Eupraxia for everything that you do. Everyone can do it, and Eupraxia is there to take you to the finish line. All I want now is for everyone to be able to see the success that I did, feel the way I do, and be able to say, “I DID IT! I LOVE MYSELF”.
